Choosing your wedding photographer is such

a big decision towards your wedding day.

I’ve included some of my most asked questions

below but if you have any others please let me know!

FAQ

  • We love your work! How do we book you?

If you do decide that I would be the perfect fit for you & your special day then head to my “Contact” page here & fill in the form. I will then email you back as soon as possible letting you know if I’m available on your date (exciting!). If you’re happy to get me locked in for your date I will then send over the online booking information.

  • Can we meet before we book?

Absolutely! I love to get together for a little informal chat before your big day to hear all about it! Let me know & we can set up a video call.

If you or your partner are someone who hate the thought of being in front of a camera all day, I would always encourage an engagement shoot as well. This not only helps you know what to expect from your day but also allows us to walk around & get to know each other & get comfortable before your day! Check out my blog post about engagement shoots here.

  • What's included within the online booking form?

The online booking form includes a couple of questions about yourselves & your day, a contract & an invoice for the retainer fee.

  • How much is the deposit?

A retainer fee of £250 is payable to secure your date with myself. Once this is paid & the contract is signed we are good to go!

  • What happens once I have booked in?

Once you have secured your date with myself I will send you over my own wedding guide which includes a whole host of handy hints & tips on how to elevate your photographs for the day! If you ever have any questions at all I’m always happy to help between the time of you booking & your big day.

I always like to have a meeting around 4-6 weeks before your big day to go over all the details of your day & make sure I’m exactly where you need me at all times!

  • How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

It’s absolutely never too soon to start thinking about the way you want your big day to be captured! I generally take bookings for up to two years in advance so getting in touch as soon as you are ready is always best!

  • What can I expect on our wedding day?

Every wedding is unique! A usual day for myself would consist of:

Capturing the excitement & rush of the preparations in the morning alongside some stunning detail shots of your important bits & bobs (shoes, rings, flowers etc)

Wedding party & guests arriving & mingling

    The ceremony

Family formal group shots (I like to keep this to a maximum of 10 different groups so you, as the newlyweds, don’t have to take too much time away from your guests!)

Newlywed portraits - I’ll steal you away for a short while to get some photographs of the two of you.

    Speeches

Dinner - A meal for myself isn’t a requirement but it’s always a good idea to keep me close by in case anything spontaneous happens!

    Cake cutting & First dances

Party time! I usually stay around for a little while to get some photographs of the party really getting going!

After all the fun & excitement of the day I will leave you to party in to the wee hours & head back home to make sure all the captures of the day are backed up.

  • How long will my photographs take?

There are a few different stages to this!

Within the first few days I will send over a sneak peek gallery. I always like to make sure you have some professional photographs to post online as soon as possible!

Within 4-6 weeks I will deliver your full gallery on an online platform that you can share with your friends & family. This will allow you to download high res & web sized images.

After your gallery is delivered I will send out your USB box (if included in package) that includes a few of my favourites printed from your day!

  • How many photographs will I receive?

From a full days wedding coverage you can expect 500+ photographs. Each photograph is individually hand edited to make sure that I am getting the best out of every capture.

  • Do you do albums?

Indeed I do! Let me know if you’re interested & I can send you over my album guide.

  • Are you insured?

I am! I have all of my equipment insured & also have public liability insurance. Sometimes your venue may ask this.

  • Do you have any travel expenses?

The first 50 miles from my location (FK2) is covered within the packages. Additional travel expenses will be quoted at the time of replying to your enquiry.
